Three years ago it rained poured at 4pm on race day after a night of thunderstroms. It also rained after the heats and they still got it in.

Twin Cities Sprintweek 2005?

Grain haulers do a hell of a job packing!

Too bad USAC couldn't figure out some way to post this on their web site without making the user search around for it.

Anyone else think that new site is terrible?

year after year the usac opener is a myth. Tony needs to make some changes with the clowns running that place. forcast for a nice perfect saturday at the start of april and this again and again. Pole Day? i may just eat the $80 i shelled out for the chair sections on the usac shows this year. last years track at the 3 crowns was a joke. you can only hope to see the opener when no wing or wedge rubber has been laid down for a while. This is when K miller needs to step in!:redflag:

I'll second that, not an option for me. I'd rather save my money.

Guess I'll stay home and watch the 4 most evenly matched Final Four teams in history. Would rather be racing, but at least there is something to do.

They wonder why they don't get the crowds for USAC races, maybe it is lack of effort. It might take some hard work, but at least the fans know you are commited to them. With hardly any tracks open they would be assured good crowds and car counts. This is always my favorite (from what I remember) because the sun dosen't beat down the track til 9 pm. This was rained out because of pure laziness.

Wow...unbeivable. I live only 6 mile from Eldora. In the past 7 days we have received .83 inches of rain. (only about a half inch last night and this am.) I think this is more of Larry Kemp than anyone else. I think he makes the call for this. Odd thing is I have stopped and looked at the track a couple of times in the last two weeks. If he wanted, he could have spent many hours in the last two weeks getting ready. For me this is sad, Kemp just does not have the pride or desire that Eldora Speedway deserves. I wonder who in Indy is over seeing Eldora?? I would think Tony has someone with this respondsability. Wake-up Indy........

If They Go To 360ci And 12" Wide Wheel On The Rear You Will See Dirt Track Racing Again! Those 18" Wide Wheel And 20" Wide Tires Have Ruin Dirt Track Racing!
