i was at a race @ wayne county speedway many moons ago where weld was leading the race with opperman right on his tail/ opperman put a slider on him in turn 4 and they bumped and weld bobbled, opperman then slowed to a near stop on the back stretch and waited on weld to catch up and go by him, op then jumped back on the throttle and the race was on again, he eventually pulled off a clean pass and won the race
thought i'd never see that kind of sportsmanship again and hadn't until the sprint car portion of the midget week show at lps last summer when chad was chasing shuman for the lead and they bumped as chad was passing, shu bobbled and chad slowed to allow shu to catch up and pass/ chad then jumped back on it and eventually was able to pull off a clean pass and won the race chad in not only fast, but is a true sportsman and a class act/ happy belated birthday chad, look forward to seeing you at the n vernon soon and at the burg next month! ![]()
