I wish Dave nothing but the best and can't wait until October 4th when the MSCS invade's The New and Improved Lawrenceburg Speedway for The Lawrenceburg Nationals. Im not trying to say the track was bad before, im just as excited as everyone to see the traditional sprint car on the new and bigger suface is all.

I had planned to attend, but when this is the track's attitude, there is no way I'm going to drive that far for any of their events.

Wow, imagine if I had posted a baby picture I would have hated to see Steves reaction then.

On a serious note, we learned last year NOT to qualify any of our support divisions, I just made a point to ask why we would change up our show, when I have never seen any track in Indiana that runs a Sprint show, run ALL of the Sprint car stuff first (besides Terre Haute) and then run a complete program for all of their other classes. Im bargaining on Steves response coming only because it came from me.

We are not a Sprint Car track, we are trying to bring in more Sprint Car shows, Its not the "tin top" coming out in me, its just me saying that we are going to run our show the same way we would run any other show.

Maybe this will help everyone understand.....It clearly states in the MSCS contract that each track promoter signs upon agreeing to the race date that the MSCS will be the first class on the track for all racing activities that night.

Im not positive but i do believe USAC and The WoO are the same way as i cant remember them being the last class to run.

I must stay out of these threads. If I don't stay out, I may get tattled upon again.

I'm going to sign off, to watch a good NHL game on FSN Midwest.

I know youve taken alot of crap on this board from people but you are representing Brownstown Speedway and I dont want to see some of the IOW guys not show because of the things you are saying to them on this board. Tryin to help you with your class Chris. I dont know you Chris and the only thing I know about you is you are an announcer at a couple of tracks and im sure you are a good guy but maybe you should take these matters up with them in person not on here. I want to see the MSCS show at max capacity so the series can come back and get as many races as possible.

The only problem is DJ is that I will never meet Steve Turner in person, and he doesnt respond to Private Messages, so I said my peace on the subject and left it alone.

What one of my old bosses used to tell me at the track,

"if someone chooses not to show up because of what someone posted on a message board, they have mixed up priorities, because you as an announcer does not change what happens ON the race track"

I havent disparaged anyone on here that I know of in this thread. I posted what the agenda was going to be for that evening, and let them know that we werent going to shaft our regular class of cars. I dont know how I could have put it any better. Hope to see you at a track sometime DJ, ill be sure to look you up if youre at Brownstown for the MSCS show.
