Sponsoship = $$$$. Mopar is a sponsor. Sponsors don't do that for free.

The Gold Crown Midget Nationals is scheduled for Thursday Oct.9th,
Friday Oct.10th, & Saturday Oct.11th, with an open practice night on Wednesday Oct. 8th.

This show will be put on by Tri-City Speedway. A sanctioning group and all the details for this event will be announced in the near future.

Great news and what is best is the sanctioning body that wil be incharge of this. Kenny and hiw entire staff do one hell of a great job at every race I have been too with POWRi.

Only POWRi could do an event like this and make it a success and I know it will be a huge success.

Went there once last year. New config. looked nice but the track surface was in need of some good prep. Either way I'll be there for this event.

PowerI is prone to snap judgements and penalize drivers in a manner similar to quarter midget racing. That's not the way I think it should be done in any pro series. Also, if you look at the photos on their web-site, Knepper, Brown and Siner cars are always featured in the photo list from every event. A little too much nepotism for me. I've always thought that promoters and their relatives should not race in their own events.
