Thanks again tonight to Dean, Craig, Kirk and USAC. After this weekend's coverage, there are at least two tracks that you'd better believe I'm going to go see a race at, someday. Something that a recap or box score would be hard pressed to do. These webcasts add to the series, not take away. Even on a reasonably priced pay-per-view basis, if thats what it takes to do it. Like for the price of a USAC event ticket, for example.

WHAT A SHOW!!! The opening laps of the A-main were as entertaining as any racing I have ever seen. The folks who were there were the lucky ones for sure, but everyone who watched on the internet should give a huge thank you to USAC, the track, and the whole production team who made it possible for us to watch incredibly entertaining racing. Thank you, thank you, to everyone who made it possible for me and my family to watch a fantastic show from a place that we probably never would have had the pleasure of seeing had it not been for this broadcast.

USAC, you make some boneheaded moves sometimes, but your car owners, mechanics, crew members and drivers put on absolutely the best and most exiciting racing of any division or any type car in the world, bar none.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.

they have run POWRI and SMRS midget shows there and they put on a great show as well. A few of the local sprint teams have midgets as well. Great turn out tonight and the first part of the feature was amazing.
The locals felt like they had brought a knife to a gunfight with their 360's and 305's (I only know 2 of them that had 410's) but they were all smiling and a few were talking about getting 410's for next year.
Got in the truck and started to pull out and Jon Stanbrough was putting his bag in the car parked next to me so got to tell him to have a safe trip home, sure hope to see him there again.
Perfect ending to the night.

If any of you are on I-70 pulling into the east edge of Kansas City on a Friday night stop in and check out Valley Speedway.

Im sorry but Blake is not a good announcer

He is GREAT. He has the complete package of driver knowledge, history, and the capabilities to keep up with the action and his voice level and pitch during exciting moments in races is spot on. Always great to listen to him

Spridge didn't do such a bad job. Especially considering when he's announcing, it usually means that he and Mills threw a deal together, to go out on the web, at the last minute. Bonus coverage, so to speak. Plus, he's one of us, a real race fan. Live races, you thought you'd never get to see, brought to you by a real-life open wheel junkie. You can't beat that.

Spridge did a great job the time i heard him at the gold crown. He definitely has the driver knowledge and the behind the scenes scoops. Not to mention he can see a car at first glance and know exactly who it is whereas some of us announcers who do this on a weekly basis still stumble over names
