anyone understand the lineup order on the features? it just did not make much since to me. friday ballou finishes 2nd in his heat and then starts on the pole for the feature. but then he wins his heat last nite at kokomo and they start him 21st in the feature. i mean that just seems like a big difference from one nite to the other over finishing one position different in his heat.over one position the lineup is 20 spots different? if someone knows how they are doing the lineup plz. share this with me because i raced sprintcars in the 80's and i just don't remember it being like that.

Its all on qual times, inverts the top 6 times, for example last night your top qualifiers didn't transfer out of the heats so therefore the best they could start from the B was 7th and your guys like boespflug that were in the teens moved up to the front row

Chad Boespflug, 98x, Gatt-13.063 - (Transferred) The cars in bold transferred to the A-Main and lined up inverted in the top 6 positions like this: Row 1: 98x Boespflug - 37 Riggs Row 2: 53 Stanbrough - 5x Windom Row 3: 50 Spencer - 40 Grant From there, the rest who transferred through the heats and B-Main line up straight-up behind the first three rows according to qualifying times like this: Row 4: 35 Scheurenberg - 71p Coons Row 5: 21x Darland - 11 Cottle etc., etc... Out of the top 12 qualifiers listed above, Clayton and Elson did not make the feature so were not included. Hopefully this cleared it up a little bit. ![]()
