Not that the pace car driver is settled, who is singing the national anthem ? The speedway has made some bad chioces in recent years.

AJ is singing too and running the concession stands ...all of them.
Will he be at the Night before the 500 at the fairgrounds with a pace car???

I'm still shocked that Donald ***** was considered in the first place....
Izod was a big factor in it from what I read when it was announced. I guess ***** has some sort of clothing line (why you would ware Donald ***** clothes is beyond me) and Izod does business with that company. Izod is a great sponsor and has done more than all the other IRL title sponsors combined so I'm sure they were just trying to make them happy. Some square pegs just don't fit into a round hole.

[/COLOR]I can't believe those in charge at the Speedway would have picked anyone from outside of racing to drive the pace car for the
100th running of the 500, especially Donald *****. Hell there are plenty of good candidates but Super Tex is the best by far. Kind of ironic though...AJ pacing the field that I am sure will include over 50% foreign drivers and we all know how he USED to feel about foreign drivers.

Drat. I just "liked" the Draft Betty White to Drive the Pace Car page on Facebook. What a missed opportunity for the Indianapolis 500 community.

Well, the Speedway actually listened to my suggestion!

Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black since over half of your last 20 posts have been politically slanted. Sometimes I think some of you are way too full of yourselves. I dont think Bill started this board for you to express your political leanings. Who cares who drives the pace car!

Apparently there are a lot of people who do care who drives the pace car! You see how many people commenting about it! Especially since it's the 100th 500!
