Has anyone heard if the Mini Sprints will be back at Twin Cities this year. The MMSA ran there a few times last year but I don't see TC on their 2011 schedule.

I heard there was a possibility that TC might run their own 1000 class. Wondering if that will happen or if the MMSA and AMSA will run some races there.

All I've seen, is what is on the MMSA web site, and Lawrenceburg website, looks like MMSA mostly at Brownstown, and AMSA at thBurg, MMSA has a couple at Bloomington, and one or two at Kokomo, we, MTQRL TQ's have 3 at TC, that's as much as I've found out. Gas City, Montpelier, LPs, Paragon have yet to post a schedule, and others, I'm sure. Bob

Twin Cities schedule is out. There are some 1000cc races listed but no association with either the MMSA or AMSA. The AMSA's schedule is not out yet, the MMSA does not have Twin Cities on their schedule.

Looks like the 3 races at North Vernon will have mostly A.M.S.A. cars 1 night and M.M.S.A. cars on another according to how each associations schedule looks so far. There is a date that A.M.S.A. does not have a race so that will be mostly AMSA cars. Another date MMSA does not have a race, that will be mostly their cars. The other date could be interesting because both series have races, probably will not be many cars at Twin Cities on that night.

Does anyone know what the payout would be for the mini sprints at North Vernon?

April 30th:
Twin Cities 1000s
AMSA - L-Burg
MMSA - No Race

May 14th:
Twin Cities 1000s
AMSA - No schedule yet
MMSA - Paragon

July 30th:
Twin Cities 1000s
AMSA - L-Burg
MMSA - Paragon

Waynesfield is running their 1000 class on May 14th and July 30th also.

We will run at Twin Cities on April 30, as long as the payout is worth the effort. $500.00 to win and $75.00 to start would get me there. The other nights we will have to run with MMSA. We appreciate everything Bill May has done to support the mini sprints both wing and non wing.

I am a little surprised that TC scheduled their 1000cc class two of the same evenings that L-Burg has the AMSA running. The L-Burg schedule has been out for a couple of weeks.

They may have a good showing on April 30th with the MMSA cars but I don't see much of a car count on July 30th. The AMSA schedule is not out yet. If they are running somewhere on May 14th there probably won't be many cars at TC that night either.

Depends on the payout. Most AMSA cars are from Ohio, so if Twin Cities pays like the 600's were payed at Salem, then I figure most of us will go to Waynesfield.

AMSA will not schedule any races at Twin Cities. He owes them $400 from 2 years ago with a contract signed he wouldn't honorand a attitude of take or leave it,so Jerry didn't even book any races there last year.Jerry is not cutting the payout for you.All other tracks honor theirs.Bloomington and Paragon will not pay so Jerry doesn't bother wasting his time or yours .If any member wants to run somewhere else they can and are welcomed back with open arms.I notice most track are cutting the amount of races they are running.

As usual I am overwhelmed with the professionalism on this board. Bloomington is an amazing minisprint track and I asure you they pay just fine. Paragon is the same. Both tracks are great for our cars and the growth of minisprints. Harry I know plenty of racers who have not felt welcome. Even if sanctions disagree with promoters there is no reason to post it here. We are more than happy with Bills efforts working with the promoters to have a variety of tracks to race at. So don't be disrespectful to the people making an effort to actually building the sport instead of tearing it apart.
