What is going on in Bloomington on August 8th.
I checked on hotels and The Econo Lodge was at $180 per night.
So much for spending the night in Bloomington and have a short drive to L'burg the next day.

I'm thinking about hitting this show but I'll of course crash my little ass in the back seat.

My guess is something to do with IU. I was going to be staying in that area one time on my way to Salem and got bumped out of my reservation by freshman parents bringing the kiddies to school right about that time of year. The motel manager handed me $40 dollars and said he wished me "good luck finding a room." Finally found a room in Louisville at around 5 A.M., slept about 3 hours and then went to the race.
