Here is the link for the 2011 PowrI schedule. Rather surprised that they will not be co-sanctioning the Gold Crown races at Tri City Speedway but rather running there own race on October 1st at Belle Clair.
July 16 at Wimot and July 17 at Sun Prairie. That sounds like a good weekend of midget racing in WI! USAC Midgets don't run that weekend but that is the end of sprintweek. I hope I get to see the Don Moore #10 up here that weekend!

The sad thing is, according to Tri-City Speedway schedule, the Gold Crown Nationals is the only midget event at this track all year. Whoever let this happen, if true, should be ashamed. That place established it's self as a midget mecca last year. And they've decided that this wasn't worth building on, apparently. Zero POWRI events and it's right in their back yard.
I know that not too long ago, over on the stlracing site, Kevin said that there schedule wasn't finished and that a few more open wheel shows were in the works.

Thanks for thinking of us. I will be evaluating all the midget schedules and see what's best for our team. There are quite a few new opportunities closer to home that might work for us that have not been announced yet. I want to also look at the ARDC schedule. We raced a few times with them last season. We especially enjoyed Mercer Raceway in PA. I'm also interested in the purse structure for the D1 USAC midget series. What is it, BTW? One thing that I would like to see is the midget organizations ditching the tire rule. We need to get the prices of tires way down. Why is this so difficult to understand. The cost of two purple tires at a recent race meet was $350 with tax. That's crazy.
