"The 2010 Ted Johnson Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to Sprint Car Racing was awarded to Hall of Famer Karl Kinser, the winningest car owner and crew chief in World of Outlaws history. Kinser was not able to attend, but will be given the award at Bloomington Speedway in Indiana in 2011 when the World of Outlaws return to the ¼-mile bullring."
Found this on the WoO website wrap up of the press release awards banquet last night. Please say its true
I have no reason to like winged sprint car racing, but when they show up on these little bullrings, they actually make it exciting to watch. Ill be there for sure
That is some of the best news I've heard for awhile! I was at the last Outlaw show at B-TON in I believe 96 or 97. It was twin 40 Lappers and Sammy won both of them in the Channelock Car. I'm ready to start the annual Outlaw Steak Fry again too. Damn that was good!
Oh Ya.. the steakfry.... remember the guy cooking that had the fake "male member" under his apron and he would wipe his hands all the time revealing it? those were the days... hope this news is true and not an error on someone's part in the WoO office.

Count me in. If this deal happens, it's going to be absolutely awesome. Only thing that would make it better would be a Saturday WoO show at the Burg, and a Sunday show at Kokomo to make a nice weekend out of it.
If this is true, and I hope it is, I would not be suprised if Steve makes an announcement that 2011 is to be his farewell tour. I just think it would take something like that for Mike and the WOO to get back together and bring them back here one more time.
Maybe a Friday April date in conjunction with the Haubstadt date? If so, I hope the weather co-operates.
