I will say that my dad and I had a blast Saturday and want to thank Gregg Steele, Duane and Sonja Alexander, and Tony Stewart Racing for making it possible. It was a dream come true for me with my first laps coming at ORP on Saturday, I can't wait to get another shot there and get more competitive.

I am pretty sure I know who your niece and nephew are JSBH03. Tyler told me he was there, which was really cool. He comes in almost every Monday talking about a midget or sprint car race he went to over the weekend. He always asks if Ive ever ran the Action Track.

I also want to give a shout out to my buddy Adam Kramer and his dad Chris. They had a top 5 run going until the last 15 laps Saturday night. Although I hated having to watch it was really fun to watch him charge to the front.

We will run the MTQRL TQ series, the Wednesday night Speedrome Series and some of the USSA midgets as well as a handful of national races.

Again thanks for the mention and congrats to Tanner Swanson, pretty unbelievable to think someone can win there first time at such a tough place.
That's a pretty good guess. LOL. That boy loves racing. His mom won't let him race though! He came down last summer and stayed with us for a week and I took him to the Action Track and LPS. Anyways, good luck to you.

A buddy of mine and I went and had a great time! I never would have guessed Bobby East wouldn't make the feature, though. None the less the midgets put a great show on. The USF2000 and Star Mazda(or the Connor Daly show) classes werent too bad, just not enough of them. All in all a great night at raceway park!

Does anyone have an idea who has pictures of winners pictures from midgets and other photos from Saturday night at ORP

I wonder why East could not use a provisional? Or am I confused about the provisional thing? Didn't they do that before? He is a past midget champion, no?

The entrant gets the provisional not the driver. It look like East qualified and competed in Heat 2 in the Klatt #4. For the semi he was in the Klatt #4K. The Klatt #4 had the provisional not the #4K.

Provisional Starters
The provisional starter program will be in effect for this event. TWO (2) will be awarded to National Series Entrants who were in the Top 20 in the 2009 season entrant point standings, if eligible.

No mention of Daniel Bedford going over the backstretch wall? (he was okay) He also dominated the semi and I think won that by a straightaway.

Just checking in tonight. Guess who won the speedrome focus midget feature but Tate Martz. Really competive racing with only 10 midgets, 9 focus, 5 young guns, 4 TQ's but good show everyone should get out and watch some of our young talent coming up plus some old veterans.Hope to see more than 80 fans next week! Good show still! Tate in a interview said he is a teacher in Rushville.
