Just learned that Terry Eaglin motorsports will be hosting 410 non-wing sprints at Hendry county speedway in clewiston fl in february prior to the usac races at eastbay.....practice on thursday feb 4th with racing on friday the 5th and saturday the 6th... lets all show our support...a couple hours south of eastbay and should be wamer....

Yeah Me too!!....its warm here to!!......but da RaceTrack here in Yuma has been down for some time they tell me!!....havent found it yet!!...on So. side outa town,can't seen ta get past da MINESHAFT Sports Bar when I head that way!!....(Big ole girl) bartender told me she usta run there!!....."thinkin ta myself"....she,dam sure,was'nt in a Midget!!!!!...but, said someone was tryn ta get'r goin again!!....Lot closer than "Manzy" (was) gona be!!!!????....Ha Ha!!.....

I know absolutely nothing about this deal, but I've known of a number of cases over the 40 years I've been going to winter shows in Florida, where some "promoter" leased a track, neglected to buy good insurance and/or was unable to come up with the purse. Please make sure that everything is up to Indiana standards before you commit to running this. Since it's 3 hours from Tampa, I don't think it's going to hurt the crowd at East Bay, which is a good thing. I worked some midget shows many years ago which were hurt by some shady characters running underfunded, underinsured shows nearby.

According to good old Mapquest that is 210 miles from East Bay.
Roughly 3 hours and 50 minutes one way. If you have already driven to Florida, what is a few more hours to catch two nights of non-wing sprint cars in the middle of winter.

Hope the purse is decent.
