So I just found and joined this site today. With a brief history I have been a race fan basicly my whole life, well since I can remember anyway.

I always knew of USAC and watched a few videos, but 2 years ago when the Eastern Storm tour was to be at the speedway within minutes of my house I knew I could not miss this race. Well it rained and after watching the next years schedule I waited for months for the return last year. Well what a race USAC on a fast 1/2 mile what a great night. Ending with my then 1 1/2 year old daughter getting given a hat from Tracy Hines after the race.

So now I and my wife are hooked on USAC. Can't wait for the Eastern Storm tour this year planning on going to 2 races while in Pa.

Witch leads to my first question. We are also planing on attending the first 3 races of Indiana sprint week this July. Got the hotel booked in Kokomo for 2 nights then on to Lawrenceburg.

What would you recomend for a good time killer between the the races. Need ideas for saterday around Kokomo and probley sunday.

Plus a few pics from the race, Notice my daughter checking the Wheel out.

kokomo has a really nice water park. its called kokomo beach. there is also a auto museum right in kokomo just minutes from the track. last time we over nighted we wnet to the waterpark it was a nice way to cool off in the 90 degree heat.

I'm not sure about taking a 3-year-old, but this is definitely the best "take" in Kokomo: http://www.kog.com/ And, it's about time Brent T. Funk went, too.

No my daughter will be staying home on this trip. Although she does go to all the races here at home. She likes her pink headset.

racen857 so I take you're a Port Royal regular? Always good to see another eastern sprint fan venture west to Indiana. You're in for a real treat!

I'll be up at the Port on the 8th.
