I may have missed it through all of the posted comments, but did anyone ever hear of what really happened to Yeley last week at Haubstadt?

He got out of his car to check his bent shock and when you get out at an MSCS event you are done. I heard this first hand told me himself!

That is pretty hard core since I don't think that he actually touched anything. Not quite the same as like a Sterling Marlin incident a few years back when he actually pulled sheet metal off of his tire.

This is one of the MSCS rules for RED FLAG CONDITIONS:
57 DRIVERS MUST STAY IN CARS - Drivers must remain in their cars while on the track. Any driver getting out of their car on the track will be disqualified from the race. During red flags, drivers must remain in their cars.
One exception would be if there is a safety issue for the driver. Another exception is that a driver should never be in their car during refueling. On track refueling is normally not allowed and would require a prior arrangement or permission from MSCS officials.
He was at the driver's meeting and as always this is stated to all of them. That was his own fault. He could've stood up and bent over the roll cage to look around the car to see if anything was visibly broken, but as soon as his feet touched the ground he was done! Maybe he'll pay attention next time! Things break, but rules are rules.
Also glad to see no one got accused of rough driving against him like the night before at J'ville on 2 separate occasions with 2 different drivers..now that was a crock!

I was in drivers meeting and the bald headed guy flat said that, when he say JJ get out of his car he looked at him said you cannot do that then give him the black flag and JJ was mad, but if he was listen in Drivers meeting instead of talking he would knew that.!!
