I sold my sailboat and will heading to the races in small rv. Wondering about camping particularly during Sprint Week and Smackdown, and any other track. Is it all first come first serve or are reservations needed. Any other pertinent info such as: How far in advance can one park at track? Hookups if available, cost? Many thanks.

First come, first served as far I know. Always been that way in the past. Many will be there 4 to 5 days early for the first race. After that many will go the next race right after the conclusion of the current race. Exception maybe being the gap after the Burg to Terre Haute. The Burg has free electric if you get there early enough. Terre Haute also has electric @ $20.00 per night.

Terre Haute has water hookups in addition to the electric hookups at some of their campsites.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
