Recent downtime...

Well, the most recent downtime was caused by a memory shortage. No, not a brain fade... A "server" memory shortage. It was my mistake... I tried saving a few $$$. I am just going to upgrade and it shouldn't happen again or at least until all of ya use all that memory up...

Who would've thought a website covering sprint car and midget racing would get over 16 million hits just for the month of August...:eek: I have to be honest... I never expected that.

Bottomline is... if you keep coming to the website... I'll keep upgrading.

Thanks for making IOW what it is... and I apologize for the short period of downtime.

Thanks Bill. I was getting that message this afternoon at work and thought maybe it was my computer. Then I came home and it happened here. Now I know why. I am just glad it is working now!!! Thank you again for all you do, this BOARD IS THE BEST!!!!!

Thanks for the site Bill, I've met a lot of good people thru IOW! 16 million hits, WOW! Just think if you had have got $.25 for each hit!! :wink After reading your thread I realized just how dedicaated to this site you are. We got rained out tonight so I just donated what it was going to cost for my pit-pass tonight to your site. It's not much but if all your members help out some it wouldn't cost so much for you! Thanks again for an awesome site! :respect:
