I've had it the last 8 of 9 years. The one year I didn't I had a problem with my neck that required surgery that cost close to $60,000, and the track insurance only covered $25,000. Needless to say not spending $400 for STIDA cost me roughly $35,000. So dont take the gamble, especially because I know certain tracks in Indiana only have $10,000 in coverage.
As a car owner who witnessed the results of a tragic accident in southern New Mexico last fall I urge every driver to get covered. The fact that Casey posted this gives me comfort. He made me proud at the Vegas USAC race last week.
