Wanted to share this. Who Remembers this one.
Knoxville Raceway posted this on their Facebook page a few days ago. I also have a set of VHS videos "And They Walked Away" and this was on the first tape.
1988 Knoxville Nationals - Going into turn 1. Dave Blaney was one of 4 cars involved.

I was taking pictures in turn 2 at Knoxville for this. The sound of the wide-open car going in circles is what I remember the most.

If I remember correctly, during the long red flag they were able to get Blaney's car repaired and was able to qualify through the heat race. Absolutely love the Allen Knott car.
