A heavy line of thunderstorms struck the Shelby County Fairgrounds prior to gates opening forcing the cancellation of HARF Night due to standing water on the racing surface.

The MTQRL three-quarter midgets will return to Shelbyville next weekend, Saturday September 12th, for their season finale where the league will crown a new champion. Current point leader Ronnie Combs will clinch the championship when he signs in to compete for the evening. His teammate, rookie Callie Wolsiffer, will secure a one-two finish in the standings for Tony Stewart Racing with a finish of tenth place or better in the feature.
