For Immediate Release

7/24/15

Bloomington, IN

The self proclaimed "Mayor" of Paragon International is seeking re-********. Jon Sciscoe and Team 7 is in the process of readying a XXX powered by Snyder. The team has hired Matt "Twinkey" Jacobs to fill the dual roles of chief mechanic and drivers coach. Sciscoe is pumped about the new hire. He went on to say, "When you couple Twink's experience with Daron Clayton and the tricks he's learned in the Hornet division....you have an incredible recipe for success." Matt has full confidence in his veteran driver going into PISS. Matt's feelings were, "I don't think he could get the job done at the Hornet level, but he may have enough left to get us a Johnson Memorial win. Everything is coming together with the car and hopefully we can get to the track tomorrow night." The Mayor would make no guarantees for his upcoming performance, but long-time sponsor Mike Freeman guaranteed victory. We will all have to wait and see. Paragon, your Mayor is coming home.

It's all for fun, and yes the experience we both have won't hurt. "The Mayor" will be calling all the shots! As it should be when the guy behind the wheel of a fire breathing monster has to have faith going into turn one full tilt! I would say it will be interesting to say the least. We have never really worked together like this, and there maybe some rust to shake off on my part. Readying a feature winning racecar is no easy task. In fact the last time I wrenched a sprinter it was the very same #7 car/motor combination with DD behind the wheel. Jon Sciscoe was victorious while we settled for fourth I believe. We may have to call fly in crew chief Danny Holtsclaw to really get us dialed in. Hope to see you all at the races very soon.
