Here are the details for Thursday and Friday's events this week:

Quincy Raceways Thursday June 4th
8000 E. Broadway, Quincy Illinois

Pits open at 4:00
Grandstands open at 5:00
Hot laps 6:15
Racing 7:00

Classes: We are only going to run POWRi Midgets and Micros at this show in hopes of getting done at a decent time on a Thursday night.

Admission: $18 Adult, $15 Senior, Ages 11-18 $5. 10 and under Free.

There is plenty of room for RV parking in our grass lot. No Hookups.

Jacksonville Speedway Friday June 5th
'Double Down Showdown'
110 N. Westgate Jacksonville, IL

POWRi Midgets and Micros with $3,000 to win Neal Tire MOWA Sprints. Special Guest Steve Kinser.
$2,500 Bonus to any driver who wins both the Midget and Sprint Features - or - $1,000 bonus to highest average finisher.

Among those who plan to race both sprints and midgets at Jacksonville that we've heard from: Bryan Clauson, Rico Abreu, Christopher Bell, Zach Daum, Joey Moughan and I'm sure a couple others we haven't heard from.

Adult admission $27. Ages 11-18 $15. 10 and under $5.

Pits open 2:30, Grandstands 4:30, Hot Laps 6:15. Racing at 7:00

We will have a pre-party upgrade at the event which entitles you to a free meal, free beverage and a meet and greet. We have about 75 spots left for that. I'll post details on it later as I get final numbers together.

Please note that Sammy Swindell was originally scheduled to race as well, but his recent Outlaw ride with Jason Johnson made him unavailable.

We have plenty of room for RV's, however hookups are going to be hard to come by at Jacksonville due to part of our parking lot being blocked off for the city's BBQ cookoff on Saturday.

If you already purchased a ticket for our May 15th NSL/MOWA Sprints Gone Wild event that was rained out, your tickets will be honored, your seats will still be reserved and you will get a credit for the $3 difference between this ticket and that one.

Questions? Please post here or contact me (Kenny) at 217-371-3653 or kdobson99@gmail.com (text or email preferred as phone is blowing up and voicemail keeps getting filled)

Online Pay Per View Stream

We are probably going to do a PPV stream of Thursday at Quincy. This will be a one camera, no-lineups, no slow-motion replays affair. But it will be a quality stream. We've done this from both Quincy and Jacksonville on our own in the past. Just double checking on our internet connections etc before we make it official.

Tentative plans are to price Thursday's PPV at $14.99, which is pretty reasonable in today's PPV market. $5 from every subscription would go to a winner's bonus courtesy of our online viewers. You will be able to choose whether you want the $5 from your subscription to go to a bonus for the Midget or Micro winner. Hang tight, we'll make the announcement on that Tuesday as well as where to subscribe.

We currently don't plan to stream the Jacksonville race, although that could change Friday morning so stay tuned.

-------------------------------------------------
Don't forget that some of these guys have a history of putting on some great shows at Jacksonville:

As usual, you have done a quality job of organizing this. I especially appreciate just having two classes at Quincy so we can get home at a somewhat decent hour. The only thing which causes me a little concern is the statement that those who bought tickets for the previous, rained-out show will still have their reserved seats. Realistically, does this mean that when I get to Jacksonville there will be no seats left, or at least no decent seats? Not blaming you, just trying to get a handle on what the situation will be.

Hopefully there will be seats still left. Making my first ever trip 4+ hours away.

There will be plenty, plenty, plenty of unreserved seats. We really didn't push the reserved seats hard for our other show and really did it so our regular fans could get their normal seat. No radio or newspaper ads, No posts here on IOW... just some facebook posts to our normal audience and announcements at our races earlier this year. Unlike our outlaw show, we weren't selling it as "you better get a reserved seat or you might not have one". We did it as a convenience instead.

You'll find maybe 20% of the grandstand with tape on the seats marking them as reserved. I bet at worst you sit within a seat or two of where you have before Frank... and most likely will be able to sit in the same spot.

Thanks Ken. I figured there wouldn't be any problem, but thought it best to ask. As always, I appreciate your quick response, not to mention great promoting.

A pair of great shows WELL worth checking out, ESPECIALLY if you haven't been to Quincy or Jacksonille. Knock them off your bucket list with some of the best racing you can see anywhere.
