You hear about how racing is a brotherhood and sometimes you question that because of drama that can happen from time to time. Tonight i witnessed what was the most selfless act i can ever remember seeing in person. As the safety crew tried to get a driver from his burning car, Andy Baugh, a Lightning Sprint driver unbuckled, jumped from his car and ran straight into what could be described as an inferno to drag a fellow driver from his burning car. Andy is a true hero and i salute him for his act of bravery. I'm not exaggerating the amount of flames that Andy braved to drag him out of the situation. After he got him out and they went to the ground he got on top of him to make sure any flames were out. Andy kept asking him if he was still on fire and kept making sure he was ok. Amazing display of sportsmanship, care for a fellow driver, whatever you want to call it Mr. Baugh I salute you. I know at least one other driver came out of his car to help plus the safety and track workers so i say thank you to all involved.

Good Post . Like I always Say - "Racing isn't something we do. It's a way of life" pretty much a BIG family.
