I am trying to find out what year my Gambler Sprint Car was built. Does anyone know of a list...chassis number to year?
I was told it is a 1985. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

there should be a 4 digit number on the right top frame rail, about in the area where your right knee would be. if its an 1985, the first digit will be a five. Sometime the stencil gets filled up with paint and powder coat making it hard to see.

Is it stamped in with number stamps or stenciled?

It is stamped. It is embedded into the steel. A little hard to read at first. But under a different light I could read it.
5134X That would verify that 1985 is correct. I am still trying to track down the original owner. Thanks for the replies. ![]() |

the "x" on the end signifies a .120 wall rollcage.
