I was at that race Keith! Foyt and Bowsher ran side by side lap after lap. Roger McKluskey was in that mix too, driving a Plymouth Superbird (I actually thought Roger won it but, obviously, he didn't). It was a great race! My buddy, Ross Smith ran 4th in a Dodge Charger/Hemi, that car owner Oakie Drout had recently purchased from Don White.

I would guess that Foyt's Ohio wins in a Midget and Sprint had to come at Eldora and/or New Bremen (or, possibly, Toledo??). Foyt did win a USAC midget race in 1961 at Lawrenceburg in the white #6 Nowicke midget but, the Burg is just across the Ohio border in Indiana.

Did he possibly win a race at the Dayton Speedway or the Cincinnati Race Bowl?

Xenia, Ohio, USAC midget, Sept. 11, 1957, in Bob Higman's #67
Tri-County Speedway, USAC stock, Sept. 13, 1968
New Bremen Speedway, USAC stock, Oct. 5, 1969

That's just a quick scan of Dick Wallen's USAC book through 1971

It's very interesting. I always knew Foyt won at Langhorne and Ascot, just not how much. He was VERY good there.
