Saturday, April 4th - Race Update - Thursday, 12:30 PM

Currently, we are full steam ahead for season opener this Saturday at the Montpelier Motor Speedway. We have a crew in today to help us finish some loose ends on our off-season projects including a concession stand renovation, inside upper tower construction, concrete work with our water tank for for the track, further work on computer timing, scoring, and lineups, and general facility prep work to have everything ready for Saturday.

We are watching the current forecasts and weather. They are currently all over the board in terms of rainfall amounts for our area. The rainfall amount and timing will be crucial to Saturday as the ground is already packed with moisture from the winter. After the showers or storms pass, we will access the current condition for the track and pits. We will pass along race status updates as we have them through Facebook, Twitter, our Website, and Texting service. Our hopes is to kickoff racing this Saturday night!
