I wasn't sure how to reach a lot of my Dad's old racing friends, some I probably don't know, to let them know that Dad is now on hospice care. I thought this forum would probably reach more of his old friends than any other.
Dad is now 87 years old. He was a Chevrolet dealer in Trenton, IL for many years. He was a midget driver and then later an owner. He was also an Indy car owner. Probably the hightlight of his racing career was in 1964 he was a co-owner with Gil Morcroft of the Morcroft/Taylor Special that ran 9th at the Indianapolis 500 with Bob Wente driving and Bob Higman as chief mechanic. "Ralphie the Racer" now resides at: Aviston Countryside Manor 450 West First Street Aviston, IL 62216 Cards are welcome. Thanks for listening, Bill Taylor
