First, It was good to see media coverage of a track and I thank them for doing it. The camera work wasn't bad however the producer should have followed the second place battles or even transfer battles.

What was absolutely painful was the total lack of knowledge by the announcers of any of the participants. Give a hundred dollar bill to a fan that knows even half the participants and let them do the play by play.

Not sure if this was their first race or what. Im sure they'll get better

I talked to the guy who was in charge of putting the whole thing together that night. They are used to doing local football, basketball and other sporting events and this was their first race. I do agree with you however; if you are going to cover it you need to have people in place with the knowledge to deliver. Their enthusiasm for the event was nice to see though. They were thrilled to be there and excited to bring it to the people. It was a fun night for sure.

A simple patch in to the regular announcer would have been a huge improvement. But like you said, They've never done it, Wanted to do it and are continuing to do it.

Gotta give props for that as they Im sure get better

I've heard worse, at least most of the time they were on the same lap as the cars. Track looks like a lot improved, hope to get up there soon. Bob

With gas city done for the year is there a chance that they will try to sneak in a Friday night non wing show. It could have a great turnout.
