As it appears it will be the only race for me this weekend, am very fortunate to be preparing the 600 Sprint for Sun Prairie's CornFest Sunday. We won the feature two years ago (when it WAS a STOCK 600 class). Always a memorable race over the years (since the late 80s/early 90s for me!).

Thankful for the car owners, our team has enough funding to make it to the last two Sun Prairie races, but always appreciate any marketing partner interest. Would very much enjoy representing any concern, and the benefit of some additional resources to help end our seasons on good notes!

The shop door will be open today and Sunday afternoon for anybody that even just wanted to stop by. Everything is appreciated. Always cold beverages!

PS - I'd run an IRS car if anybody had one they would let me try too (lol)! Been a few years now, but we have won a feature there too (and had a couple other top 3 runs before rule changes to our car).

We were able to use the new "earth tire escape route" to miss the 9 car pile up in the 600 Sprint feature, but I was un-able to avoid the car that spun directly in front of me later in the race. Making the Labor Day weekend finale at SP is going to be a push now...I've never wrecked the front of the car though, so at least have SOME spare parts around (maybe steal a shock from my un-funded midget operation...lol).
