Chris Neuenschwander has been racing at Angola Motorsport Speedway, making his first laps at the north east Indiana 3/8 mile in a mini-sprint. His first win at Angola came in a mini sprint and he has designs on using that experience to earn his first win Saturday night in the USSA Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW.
Neuenschwander has picked up the checkers in modified and in a sprint car after moving up from his mini sprint. He will be piloting the Ron Koehler Beast number 10 in the USSA Sprint Car show on Saturday night.
The New Haven (IN) native is currently holding down the third spot in the Sprint Car Challenge Series point race. At the season opener, the Glen Niebel Classic, he led the most laps until contact sent him to the back of the field and a rear end problem then sidelined him. His performance in the Pay Less Little 500 was strong as well, coming home in a solid 6th place.
Angola Motorsport Speedway is a great place for the fans to watch the Sprint Car Challenge Series race. The multiple grooves make for exciting racing. The track is also known for its great food and clean restorooms
