A true racer who has been really missed.

Rest in peace. I used to love watching him on Wed., Thurs., Saturday night Thunder. We were just in Salem Saturday on our way to West Baden and I stopped by the speedway to show my wife.

I never saw a driver that wanted to win every race he was ever in, more than Rich did. And I probably never will. R.I.P.

He's the last racer I watched, who I knew would be the show. You knew he was the man to beat, anytime , anywhere. As long as there is a sprint car fan alive and kicking , who was fortunate enough to see him run, he won't be forgotten. RIP Rich.

No one ever drove a race car like Rich. It always makes me smile to find young fans who know all about him through dad's stories.

he was gone far too soon. i miss him every time i visit a racetrack.

Tough day 24 years ago. Sure enjoyed watching
him race in Midgets- Sprints- Champ Dirt Cars.
He was the best. So many memories of Vogler.
If it was qualifying - heat races - feature he was
determined to win!
