NEXT BEAR RIDGE RACE IS JULY 12;

PIERSON NOW 4-FOR-5 IN DMA MIDGETS

The USAC DMA Midget Series resumes July 12 at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, Vt., but it seems the series has taken on a “home-town” flavor this year.

Bradford’s own Adam Pierson scored his fourth feature victory in five starts Saturday, increased his USAC DMA Midget point lead in the process. Dean Christensen led the first 10 laps and finished second ahead of Scott Holcomb, Joe Krawiec and Josh Sunn.

Pierson led the final 15 laps for the win and his all-time leading series victory list now stands at nine.

Pierson’s point lead entering the July 12 race is 57 points over Josh Sunn, while two-time series champion Joe Krawiec is 96 points back.
