motocross has this type of response here. Question is, as a promoter, what needs to be done to build sprint car racing fan support ?

Would be quite hard to duplicate those crowds at any American weekly short track event. That is team racing in major cities and in Poland, Speedway is number one. It is just like Major League Baseball or the NFL in this country. The riders in Poland are as oh of hero's as Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky are here in North America. In most other countries in Europe the leagues are not quite as strong as other sports are more popular. Unfortunately to reach that status for sprint car racing in the USA we would have to topple baseball, footballl, basketball etc. And, tjay is not going to happen.

Supercross indeed draws massive crowds here in the USA, but there is a major difference between it and Polish Speedway. The same teams race in Polish Speedway week in and week out and bring in those big crowds (there are some teams like in American sports that do not draw as well). With the exception of Anaheim, Supercross is in town for one race and it is gone until next year. Run it week after week in the same city they would soon be out of business because the crowds would dwindle and they would not be able to afford the stadium rentals

Supercross is one show, Usually during a period most tracks of any type aren't running. They got a 3.5 hour program that runs like clockwork.

Two classes only and TV.

Compare that with 5-7 tracks running sprints within 200 miles of Indianapolis any Sat night. They're are probably more fans than Supercross. They're all spread out. Fact is, most short tracks couldn't handle a supercross event, Thought I read somewhere where Eldora capped sales for the Truck Race at 30,000
