A big night of racing entertainment is on tap at Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio this Saturday night. Full program of racing including the Buckeye Machine Non Wing Sprints, Post Agri Service UMP Modifieds, Performance Powder Coating AMSA Mini Sprints, Block Insurance Agency Tuff Trucks and the Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts are all on the agenda for Saturday’s Indian Lake EMS night. The Vintage American Race Cars are also scheduled to take the 1/3rd mile dirt oval to show off pieces of racing history. Dayton Auto Racing Fan Club members will also be celebrating a night at the races receiving half price admission at the front gate with their current membership card. Pit side gates swing open at 4PM. Grandstands open at 5PM. Competitors hit the racing surface at 6PM with racing kicking off just after 7PM. Grandstand admission is just $12, kids 11-15 are $6, and everyone under the age of 10 is FREE. Pit admission is $25. Full event information is available online at

Mark your calendar for the 3rd Annual Bob Reynolds Memorial race coming up Thursday night, July 3 featuring the return of the 360 sprints cars and the UMP Modifieds. Event promoter Ron Hammons has increased payouts every year the event has been hosted, with this year being no exception. The winning sprint car driver has $7500 in prize money awaiting them with $3000 going to the UMP Modified winner. Long time sprint car driver Tim Shaffer expressed his excitement for the event over the weekend. Shaffer believes fans are in for a real treat with the magnitude of competition and amount of cars expected to be on hand for the event. For fans, beer will be available for purchase during the Bob Reynolds event. With these sales, no coolers will be permitted to be brought into the facility. A portion of the alcohol sales will go directly to the Children's Medical Missions West charity. For drivers, the July 3rd event will be an open Hoosier tire rule on the right rear. Pits open at 2:30PM with grandstands at 3:30PM for this special Thursday night edition. The first green flag of the night will fly at the normal 7PM start time. Dayton, Ohio area broadcast group, Gem City Sports Network, has signed on to bring race fans tape delayed coverage of the July 19 Dick Spencer Memorial Race featuring the BOSS non wing sprint cars.
