We have some EXCITING updates for the May 23rd Josh Burton Memorial Race at Bloomington Speedway!

We had mentioned there were some additional bonuses to be announced, and here is what we have confirmed as of today going toward the total purse.
The MSCS Winners purse is $2000.00 for the 25 lap feature. The Josh Burton Racing Foundation is adding an additional $400.00 to the purse, making the winners payout $2400.00 for The Josh Burton Memorial feature race.

ALSO, long time loyal and devoted track employee Leslie Prince and her husband Terry, are contributing $1000.00 to the purse, this money will go to the “LEADER” of the race on lap 04! So, what we are going to have is a dash for the cash, inside an already amazing feature event! This is an amazingly kind and generous gesture by Terry and Leslie Prince, that is sure to bring even more excitement to this already high paying race.
AND, it doesn’t end there! The winner of the Josh Burton Memorial Feature will be awarded the Josh Burton Memorial Trophy, a BEAUTIFUL American made Henry Golden Boy Lever Action Rifle!

If a driver can hold lead on lap 04, then go on to win the Josh Burton Memorial, he will pick up $3400.00 and the Henry Golden Boy rifle, making a total payout to the winner of nearly FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS in cash and trophy value!

For the B-main, we just received a commitment from a donor, that wishes to remain anonymous, they want to give a BRAND NEW freshly Orange painted Hoosier Right Rear tire, to the driver that finishes in the 04th position in the B-main. (if there are 2 B-mains we will flip a coin to determine the recipient of the tire)

There are also bonuses added to all classes from the Josh Burton Racing Foundation. There is a $300.00 bonus for the Rick’s Automotive UMP Modifieds making that a $1000.00 to win feature.

The Don Bush Family Moving UMP Super Stocks are getting an additional $200.00 bonus making their payout to the winner $800.00

The Chad’s Recovery UMP Hornets will be receiving an extra $100.00 NEARLY DOUBLING the feature winners award, bringing their winners payout to $225.00 to win.

We ask everyone to please come out to the Bloomington Speedway and help us honor Josh Burton and his family. Even if you have never been to the Bloomington Speedway, this will be a night of racing family fellowship like most of us have never seen before, and you too can be an integral part of this historic night.

There are still a few more surprises in the works that are yet to be finalized, as soon as they are, we will be posting that information too. So stayed tuned for that information yet to come.

It is really neat to read stuff like this. I think the coolest part of this announcement is that the last car to make the show will be rolling out for the A with a fresh new orange hoosier on the RR.

The contribution by Terry & Leslie Prince is an absolutely incredible thing in and of itself.
The Henry rifle trophy is about as cool as it gets.
The Hoosier RR tire going to the B-main 4th place finisher is just plain neat.
The extra cash going into the purse of "EVERY" class running this night, by the Josh Burton Racing Foundation.

All of it combined, makes me think Josh Burton has the biggest grin you can imagine, and would be so proud to know how so many people truly care and will never forget him.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO IS MAKING THIS POSSIBLE!
