This is WAY off-topic, but man, those Can-Am cars of that era were ground-pounders! I was at Riverside in '71, Denny Hulme and Peter Revson were on front row in the Team McLarens and when they threw the green down at the Start/Finish it sounded and felt like nothing I'd ever experienced before; imagine hearing 3 dozen Top-Fuelers leaving the line at once, and you'd be pretty close. Then they came around the hill with those 2 caramel-orange McLarens leading the way and it was pure sensory overload...
