Well, the 2014 HARF Banquet is in the history books. and as always was a Huge Success. Thanks to all who made another great banquet possible. Bob And Vicky as well as MANY others work their butts off to make it good for all of us race fans. A Nice Winter Event when our beloved tracks are closed !! If you made it out, you had a good time and if you missed it, make plans now for next year !! Congratulations to all the award reciepents on your accompishments. Excellent choices in all categories! George Seats signed me and my mother up in 1983. She was a loyal supporter until she passed in 2001. Will always remember the night we attended a midget race at the now defunct St. Charles, MO Speedway. George and his lovely wife, Terry, were both there. They gave mom a large supply of Jolly Rancher candy from the big box George had in the back seat of his Buick Electra. I've been a member continuously since 1983, and now my wife, Earlene, is a member as well. Wish I could attend the HARF meetings, but the distance, and other commitments preclude that.
I'm glad I got to drive around the Speedway on a couple of occasions, (and not at a fast idle), back in the day. Thank you HARF for all you do to support my favorite sport and for all the discount nights you provide members each year!
