The names Andretti and Hamilton are familiar to all open wheel racing fans. Jarett Andretti and Davey Hamilton, Jr will both be making their Sprint Car Challenge Series Built by the UAW debut at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, October 5. Andretti is the son of John Andretti and Hamilton is Davey Hamilton’s son.

Andretti has been racing dirt sprint cars on the Indiana sprint car circuit as well as competing in the Silver Crown Series. Hamilton regularly competes in the Must See Racing Sprint Car series.

“I am very excited to be making my first trip to Anderson Speedway in a non-wing sprint car. A big thanks to USSA, Anderson Speedway and the UAW for putting on the event this weekend.” Andretti said.

Bobby Santos and Doug Dietsch will also be making their first starts in USSA Sprint Car racing. The drivers will be joining series point leaders Aaron Pierce, Tony Hunt Chris Neunschwander in the 50-lap feature event on the high banks of Anderson Speedway.
