http://usacracing.com/news/sprint-ca...-park-saturday  * SOUTHWEST SPRINTS AT CANYON SPEEDWAY PARK SATURDAY This Saturday’s “Brawl for it All” USAC Sprint race at Canyon Speedway Park is round two of the “Grudge Series” and while it offers full points for the USAC Southwest Sprint Series it is also listed as a “special event” non-points race on the West Coast Sprint calendar. R.J. Johnson takes a 79-point Southwest lead over Charles Davis Jr. into Saturday’s race. The two have dominated the 2013 series, Johnson winning nine times and Davis six. R.J. has won five times at Canyon this year and Davis twice. Mike Martin currently sits third in the series standings. * |
