Veteran driver, Lynn Ambrose, driving an ERC chassis car, won the "Allen Ruppenthal Memorial"sat. nite at the Brownstown, IN Speedway, followed closely by brother Collin Ambrose, also, in an ERC car and Michael Roehling in a FOZ, then 2 more ERC cars of Andy Bradley and Damon Fortune, Allen would have been pleased.

Heat winners were 1st, Andy Bradley, followed by Collin Ambrose and Lynn Ambrose, 2nd, Michael Roehling followed by Damon Fortune and Colin Miller. Frank Hartgraves was the hard charger, advancing 6 spots and Collin Ambrose was the fast qualifier.

This was the last points race of the season for the MMSA, Beau Binder repeats as the Champion and Travis Stickels, after several seasons in a TQ, took Rookie of the Year after a very successful first year in a Mini Sprint.

The next event on the schedule is Funfest at Brownstown on Oct. 10th & 11th, I urge all MMSA members and other region Mini Sprint owner/drivers to support this event, this track and promoters Jim Price and Terry Eaglin have been supporters of the MMSA .
The annual MMSA banquet will be in early November, time & place TBA.
