Anybody thinking of going to the MOWA winged sprint car race at Macon, IL on Sat. 27 or any of the Illinois Winged Sprint Week? I know Smoke will be racing that Saturday, but wasn't sure who would show up and run the whole week of races. I think Danny Smith had in the past if I'm not mistaken, just trying to plan out if I should go for the week or just the Saturday event since it's closest to home. I'm really curious to see who will show up and add to the MOWA regulars with the Outlaws in Canada and All Stars in Minnesota.
I'm going to Highland on Wednesday night after work,as its on the way to Granite City the next night,which is on the way to two more nights of POWRi midgets in Missouri the next 2 nights after that.
Last year Danny Smith won at Highland,and I cant remember if he won the Speedweek Championship.
Wonder if Brady Bacon might get the winged car out for IL Sprint Week, shows a gap in his website schedule? Or if Ballou might put the wing on to run with MOWA like he did down at Haubstadt. Perhaps both will opt for the weekend off after a grueling ISW, definately justified. Do believe I've heard Kody Kinser will be running the entire IL Sprint Week though. Here's to speculation and wishful thinking!
I hope Tommy Worley shows up as well as Jimmy Hurley,and that they both race close to each other all night,just to see how much of an announcing nigthmare that must be when both are racing nearby each other!
