I understand he took the blame. Watching the replay I am not convinced it was his fault. The outside pole car drifts up the track, Smoke stays tucked in to car to his inside. Outside pole car seems to come back across track.

I agree completely...I also think that if someone feels the need to lay blame somewhere that blame should be placed on the whole "double file restarts" in open wheel racing crap. Sprintcars are exciting enough without manufacturing fake excitement.
she is home resting and tweeted that people should stop blaming tony, it was a racing deal and not his fault.
pretty cool to hear that from a young female racer that just got busted up.

I find it comical how so many open wheel people go after Tony sometimes. Not just here but on other message boards too. There aren't too many people in the history of sprint car and midget racing that have been as good and giving to the sport as he has. The guy may have a loud mouth sometimes. Chalk it up to passion. At least when he know he screws up, he admits it. I agree with the others. You watch the video I'm not so sure he is totally to blame.
