Last night in Kokomo our trailer was broken into and all of Drew's safety equipment was stolen. Along with air compressor and generator and tools.

If anyone see's anyone trying to sell a small Han's, Impact XS champ black (special made), Simpson 2 layer suit (with her name on the belt), Oakley shoes (red) and all the rest of the stuff, let me know.

Thanks

I just think this is TERRIBLE, when I think of all the years we raced and never got anything taken, I wonder what this world is coming to. If I was in Indiana I would definitely keep an eye open for your stuff. I hope someone there catches whoever has this stuff and turns them in.

This deserves a trip back to the top .... this just happened last evening and more people need to become aware of this in hopes that someone see's something / knows of something , etc.

I recall Kokomo having a similar problem with the same kind of thing last season ... someone needs to get behind this problem and hopefully prevent future losses.

Best wishes to the Salisbury family and I know everyone here regrets your misfortune.

I have a question or two. When that much stuff is stolen, especially large items like a compressor, how is it being removed from the pit area? You certainly don't see people dragging or carrying that size and quanity of items out the gate on foot. That would be extremely conspicuous.

Is it being removed from the pit area in another competitors trailer? It could be possible to pass small items over a fence to someone outside the pit area. But when large items are stolen, like a compressor, it seems only logical they are being removed in another trailer.

I seem to remember a rash of thefts from trailers in the pits of various tracks last year. It might be interesting to get a list of the entrants who were in the pits at each track where a theft occurred last year and this year and compare the names to see if there are any names that appear at all of those locations. It would certainly narrow the focus on suspects.

Posting this in light of a theft that occured at Haubstadt saturday night. Not at the same gravity as your incident but there was a Brake man calliper at the pushoff lane last night after a b-mail crash involving a trucker's car. At first they didnt find it then they said it was waiting at the pushoff shoot when we went to recover it it had already been removed by some low life. If anyone saw who walked away with it let us know it is definately not a cheap item to loose. Its amazing the audacity people have to do stuff like this. with pads and all were looking at about a $500 loss. It's just beyond me how people can do crap like this. Times are tough i know but have some self respect. Hopefully it was just a mistake but the way things have been going with wallets, tools,COMPRESSORS!, and worst of all driving gear. I just dont get it... Teams are pinching pennies already and this is just rediculous.

Thanks for all the support from everyone.

The trailer was in our driveway and we were home sleeping. The outside lights were on.

These people just wanted our stuff.

It will show up some time and they will get what's coming to them.

thanks again
