ELKO, Minn. – May 10, 2013 – Tim Kaeding charged to victory in the FVP Outlaws at Elko on Friday night in a rain-shortened A-main in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series inaugural event at Elko Speedway.
Kaeding started 13th and methodically worked his way to the front, sliding in front of Kerry Madsen just before a crash brought out a red flag, which was followed by a steady rain forcing officials to call the race with 34 of the 40 laps completed.
Madsen was second with early race leader Craig Dollansky in third, points leader Daryn Pittman in fourth and Chad Kemenah rounding out the top five.
