Any suggestions on where I should head Saturday night, July 27? Here is the plan thus far:
Friday night: Gas City (real racing) Saturday night: ?? (real racing) Sunday afternoon: Brickyard 400 (just because) Sunday night: Kokomo for the Darland Memorial (more real racing) Thanks for any suggestions! ![]() |

USAC Silver Crown and midgets at Raceway Park (whatever they call it now). That is close.

Saturday night: USAC Silver Crown and Midgets at IRP. That's where I'll be.

...plus come in on Thursday and catch the Hoosier 100 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. One of my favorites of the year. Really just 2 big choices for Saturday night, the Little 500 at Anderson or USAC at Cleremont Raceway Park. Plus if you go to the Hoosier 11 you can hit the big memorabilia show right next door, jmho, bob.

The only choice. The Little 500 is unlike any other race there is. A must see for sure.

I believe the answers that have been given to kousley apply to events surrounding the Indy 500. He is asking about the Brickyard 400 in July.

That is correct... I am looking for ideas in July...
I have to agree, the little 500 at Anderson is awesome! I have had the privelage of working for the speedway in turn 4 a few times during the event! Sorry for the confusion! Keith Ousley |
