Pavement sprint car racing is back as there are a record number of wing shows this year. The growth is coming from all three of the major pavement sprint car regions; Midwest, Southeast and Northwest.

- 150 scheduled events in 2013, increased from 98 last year!
Midwest:
- Must See Racing: increased number of drivers & teams for 2013
- Little 500: Jerry Coons Jr and Dave Darland already entered, more big names on the way
- Spartan (MI) Speedway: increased to 12 weekly events (9 last year)
- New Non-Wing series’; USSA and Top Speed
East Coast:
- Empire Super Sprints: scheduled 1st pavement race in 30 years of existence
- Wyoming (NY) and Flamboro (ON) Speedways: established sprint car divisions
Southeast:
- Showtime (FL) Speedway increased to 9 weekly events (3 last year)
- USCS: after a few years on hiatus, brought back pavement sprints , scheduled date at Atlanta Motor Speedway during NASCAR weekend
West:
- Western Wing Sprints Series: Increased to 13 touring events (8 last year)
- Northwest Sprint Racing Association: Increased to 12 touring events (9 last year)
- Meridian (ID) Speedway: increased to 8 weekly events (2 last year)
- Rocky Mountain (UT) Speedway: increased to 7 weekly events
- WESCO Series: increased to 13 events (7 last year)
- Madera (CA) Speedway: added sprint cars to 6 weekly events (one last year)
