Send text messages to members cell phone

Members can now send text messages to their friends cell phones from the member profile page(you will need to click on Send Message text)

Go to UserCP, scroll down and find "Edit SMS Options" you with need to enter your mobile phone number and enter your service provider.

If you enter your cell phone it will always remain private.

Note: Guests of the message board are not allowed to view member profiles.

Sounds AWSOME! Will work out well for cancelations while people are on the road :thumb

Does it come off of our usage or does it use your website? I have unlimited text so it doesnt make a difference to me, however others may need to know.

This uses your cell phone... I have unlimited too. Those without text messaging or those who have a limit should not use this feature. Otherwise, you could be billled from your mobile phone company for text messages.

The feature has been changed... I needed to fix a problem that existed after the original install... if you were using this feature... Please re-enter your mobile number.
