I don't know how many people have noticed this. Bloomington has been posting flyers for their upcoming races on their "Newsletters" page. I don't know if it was their intention or not, but these can be printed off and placed on bullitan boards around your respective local towns.

We all talk about getting more fans in the stands and introducing new people to dirt track racing. Well this occurs to me to be a great idea on their part to spread the word in an expensive way and on a true grassroots level.

I'm not asking for a debate on whose job it is to promote. All that I'm asking is to consider printing a half dozen of these off, and handing them out along your daily routine. I'm going to put one on the bullitan board at work, the grocery store, and I'm going to ask the gas station if they mind me doing the same.

Anybody else have a printer?

What a great idea, Joe! I live in Marion and can't help Bloomington much but I can and will ask Jiggs to put flyers on the Gas City site. I could easily put up 25 or so. Again, a great idea!:applaud::thumb

I am sure that Mike and Judy will appreciate that effort. I seen the pace car every Saturday morning delivering schedules and flyers to the local businesses in Bloomington. I have met the girls who does this for the race track and must say they are outgoing. They also work other jobs for the track as we see them every Friday night. Judy and Mike have a great staff and a devoted staff.
