You Play To Win The Game

I'm a lover of football and Herm Edwards saying of "you play to win the game" is the reason I've never raced a Sprintcar. I figure I planned on winning ever race I've ever entered, thats the goal. Obviously I havent but I've won my share. Although to me driving a sprintcar is more natural, I've never had the money to field a competitive car. The couple, few times I've gotten to take laps in a sprinter everyone was quite impressed. Everyone asks why I dont own a car instead of getting wadded up on MX and Speedway bikes. The answer every time is that theres no way I could field a competitive car and if I'm not in the hunt, well racing than sucks and is fustrating, not fun. My hats off to you guys that can race week after week knowing that barring a miracle your racing happy for a top ten, I couldnt do it. Thats where Speedway comes in. Give me a bent up bike with half bald tires, as long as it pulls hard to keep it spun up and not wheeling everywhere, I can overcome. My hats off to the rest of you guys that do what it takes to be competitive in whatever.
Happy Slidin.
