Duquoin Magic Mile gears up for HUGE Double Header Sunday October 14th
On Sunday October 14th, the picturesque Duquoin State Fairgrounds will come alive with the thrills of speed as the The ARCA Series presented by Menards and the UMP Open Wheel Modifieds roll in!
The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards take to the track for the 60th running of “The Southern Illinois 100”. Consequently, the 60th running of the event co-insides with the 60th anniversary of the ARCA Series, which has toured over 200 race tracks in 26 states since it’s inception. The series has tested the abilities of drivers and race teams over the most diverse schedule of stock car racing events in the world. “The Southern Illinois 100” is a marquee event with a past driver’s list that includes the likes of A.J. Foyt, Tony Bettenhausen, and Mario Andretti.
Joining the Arca Series will be the always exciting UMP Open Wheel Modifieds! Last years winner, Ken Schrader is on the list of drivers set to do battle in his familiar #9! This will be a day of action packed racing you won’t want to miss! Pits open the morning of at 7 a.m.
Ticket Office will open at 9:30 a.m., Practice will begin at 10 a.m., Qualifying at 12 noon and Racing at 1:15 p.m. Tickets can purchased in advance for $20 at Track Enterprises (217) 764-3200 or Duquoin State Fair Ticket Office (618) 542-1535 or $25 the day of the event, kids tickets will be $10. My Calendar says Oct 15th is a Monday.

And arent the USAC sprints supposed to be racing in Michigan on the Sunday the 14th??

Huh??? This can't be right. 15th is Monday and neither website mentions it. I see they just edited it. Had my hopes up there for a minute! Would've gone down for that.

It's not confusion that bothers me, it's the DISAPPOINTMENT!

Wish the Silver Crown race could have been rescheduled

I know the article has been edited, but need the mod to edit the title of the post... still says Silver Crown at DuQuoin

Glad I read down this far....I read the title then looked at the date and put it on my calender. I thought since it was on IOW it was on.

Thanks for the clarification....thought I was losing it for a moment ...kept scolling up to the title and back to the posting.
